In honor of this awareness day, Tails of Hope is offering FREE Rabies vaccines during September 2025.

  • By appointment only. Limited spaces available! Call to make your appointment: 724-346-4673
  • No charge for Rabies vaccination during a Spay/Neuter appointment.
  • Free Rabies vaccination with $10 Tech Fee during a vaccine appointment.

ACT NOW: YOU, ME, COMMUNITY

The World Health Organization's (WHO) 2025 theme is a call to action for our community to make a difference in this fight against this deadly disease. Whether you are an individual, part of an organization, or a decision-maker, the Global Alliance for Rabies Control says the time to act is today.

  • You  – Take action in your personal life: vaccinate your cats and dogs, educate yourself about how to prevent rabies and Pre- and  Post-Exposure Prophylaxis, share messages on social media, talk to local leaders, or advocate for better policies.
  • Me  –  Lead by example: inspire others, train professionals, donate to this program at Tails of Hope or otherwise support rabies elimination efforts in your community.
  • Community  – Work together: sponsor a vaccination program at Tails of Hope, organize and help educate learners and their families, and push for stronger rabies elimination programs.
