HIGH-VOLUME VETERINARY SURGEONS (DVM)
CUSTOM/FLEXIBLE SCHEDULES AVAILABLE TO SUIT YOUR AVAILABILITY!
Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate is able to perform 25-35 cat/dog surgeries per day and share our team's passion to be part of a collaborative, life-saving community offering low- to no-cost Spay/Neuter Programs, TNR Programs, and supporting animal welfare organizations while bringing awareness to animals in need.
Must be licensed veterinarian in the state of Pennsylvania and maintain all current and correct licenses.
Schedule and Wages:
Negotiable.
Potential for bonuses.
No “on call” responsibilities.
No weekends.
Employment with the non-profit Tails of Hope, Inc. qualifies for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program through the U.S Department of Education.
Job Type:

VETERINARY CLINIC PRACTICE MANAGER
Ideal Candidate:
Preferred candidate will be a Certified Practice Manager (CVPM) with non-profit, spay/neuter clinic experience. Required for candidate is: current CVT or RVT with license to practice in PA; have at least 2+ years experience in management or supervisory position; have excellent written and verbal skills with clients, team, vendors volunteers & students; be fully proficient in Microsoft Office and eager to become in-house expert of clinic software; proven experience with inventory management and ordering within a budget; demonstrated effectiveness as a leader capable of positively and professionally influencing and motivating others towards common goals as defined by the organization and in alignment with the Core Values of the organization. The Practice Manager's duties also include: administrative duties & reporting; medical volunteer management; student volunteer program management; medical clinic and client education management; medical clinic safety management; and other duties as required. Candidate must be a personally highly-motivated, enthusiastic self-starter with a professional attitude.
Schedule, Wages, Total Rewards:
Schedule: Our office team currently works four days a week (Monday through Wednesday and Friday) from 7am to 5pm. Clinic team hours vary by schedule and needs. Surgeries are currently being scheduled for Mondays, Fridays. and the second Wednesday of each month. Vaccine Boosters are currently being scheduled for Tuesdays.
Wage: Hourly wage depends on experience and is negotiable. Potential for bonuses.
Total Rewards Package: Depends on experience and is negotiable. Includes: CE Allowance; State License dues; National & State Organization dues; Paid Time Off (PTO), Medical & Dental insurance available; Service/Product Discounts available.

VETERINARY TECHNICIANS (CVT, LV, RVT)

Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate will have at least 2+ years experience and be fully proficient in all technical duties (including blood draws, IV catheters, administering treatments, IM injections, vaccinations and microchips, anesthesia, monitoring, etc.). Candidate must have customer service experience and be comfortable speaking to and educating clients pre- and post-surgery and about vaccines/additional services. The Vet Tech’s duties include assisting with medical supply ordering, cleaning and sterilizing the surgical suite, other clinical areas of the facility, and working as a team to keep the clinic as a whole clean and sanitized.

OFFICE ASSISTANT/RECEPTIONIST
Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate will have 2+ years' experience in reception of a very fast-paced and multi-faceted, multi-tasking veterinary office (clinic, hospital, shelter, TNR clinic) or other doctor's office, also have Vet Tech or Vet Assistant experience and/or certification, have excellent focus & attention to detail, strong customer-service & phone skills, organizational & multi-tasking skills, adaptable computer skills, a positive outlook & high energy, and a long-term dedication to the cause.
Schedule and Wages:
We typically follow a 4/10 schedule: 4 days a week (Monday through Wednesday and Friday). For this position, surgery days begin at 6:30am and non-surgery days will begin at 7:00am. From time-to-time, another day or time may be required for special events. Hourly wage depends on experience. Potential for bonuses.
